GREAT SOUTHERN

This is the dive route to explore the great southern atolls of Maldives. In this tour, we will cover south most 4 atolls in the six days of diving. Guests will have to take a local flight to Kooddoo Airport after arriving at Velana International Airport. The local flights will be arranged by us upon payment of the trip and necessary documents sent online to our email. This itinerary is for OW and AOWD sometimes with a restriction on minimum dives.

The dive instructor on board is responsible for everyone’s safety and can ask people to refrain from joining on a certain dive out if he or she believes they are not experienced enough for a certain dive. it is also possible for OW and AOWD courses to be done on board, we just need advance notification to ensure the appropriately qualified crew is on board to train the guest.

Unexplored areas of the Maldives are to be explored in this tour and all big sea creatures are also seen during these dives. You will witness the beautiful reefs, colorful corals, eels, octopuses, lots of sharks, turtles, dogtooth, tuna, napoleon wrasse, schools of trevally, barracuda and grand manta rays and friendly whale sharks. Huvadhoo Atoll 2 divisions, Fuvahmulah Atoll and Addu Atoll will be covered usually in Channel drift dives and dives usually will be good when the current picks which are the case in this season.

The itinerary will be flexible based on current and weather conditions and the final decision is with the captain. We will, however, make sure that all and even more than planned diving is covered during the trip. Music night, movie night, virgin island barbecue night, picnics, water sports, fishing and lots of seas make the trip complete and memorable.
